Apparently Google has made a breakthrough in speech recognition technology. Sounds great. Just like all the other breakthroughs that have happened over the last 20 years that would "soon" render keyboards obsolete.

Siri, Google Now, and Cortana are all amazing, and they continue to get better at a steady clip. However, I think we are still a long ways from being able to rely on speech as our primary input mechanism.
